A stuffed horseshoe crab and artificial flowers of great significance from my father's family home.
The horseshoe crab was picked up by my father on the beach when he was a child on his way to visit the graves of his family before they split up. The grave was newly built near his parents' house in Osaka by the branch of the family, so he seems to be unrelated to them at present.

He relies on the story of a dead horseshoe crab his father picked up when he was a child and his family register to find out his origins. There were no relatives in the area mentioned in the family register who might be related to him by blood, but he hears that there is an unrelated grave that he has some knowledge of. The grave was marked 'Kubo family grave'.
3D prints of the scanned grave, sand from the beach, salt seared from seawater, French mineral water and a stuffed horseshoe crab. The story is told in monologue, drawing on neuroscientist John C. Lilly's research into the altered states of consciousness of dolphins and humans through interspecies exchange/sensory deprivation, by taking these cursed objects into the body, eliciting a state of altered consciousness.

Salt generated from seawater collected on their ancestral lands is fed into a tank containing Evian water by an automatic feeder. When the device is activated, the water is pumped into the seesaw at the back by a pump, which creates waves, which agitate the seawater and salt, generating an ocean for you.
When the seawater is generated and the device stops, the water flows back into the tank in the front. The tank, which contains a dollhouse submerged upside down, appears from the monitor above to be flooded with water from the ceiling. This is an embodiment of the dream of flooding from the ceiling that I had when I experienced sensory deprivation at the Isolation Tank Experience Facility in Shirokane, where I floated in salt water in a dark water tank.
